Brief

What we were asked to do

A modelling agency's website is its shop window. Bookers and clients arrive to look at people, and everything else on the page is in the way. The brief was to build a site that puts the roster first — large, fast, well-reproduced photography, organised so a client can move through the board quickly and reach the individual model they are interested in without friction or clutter.

Output

What we made

A portfolio site built around the roster. The models section presents the board as an image-led grid that stays quick despite being almost entirely photography, with individual profiles behind it. Image handling was the engineering problem worth solving here: pictures are sized and compressed for the screen they land on, so the board loads fast without visibly degrading the photography an agency is judged on. The rest of the interface was kept deliberately quiet so nothing competes with the work.

Results

What it did

The agency has a public board it can send clients straight to, where the photography does the talking and the site itself stays out of the way.
